Staying with Friends in China? Who Handles Accommodation Registration?

Staying at a friend's home or a rented non-hotel residence in China? Arrange accommodation registration within 24 hours of moving in. For first-time registration, ask your host to assist. Online registration is available nationwide, with separate routes for repeat stays at the same address and homes owned by you or your spouse.
